Valve Seat Repair
Repair of eroded seat on a salt water discharge valve on a Texaco Steam Ship. Seat was badly eroded and would not seal properly.
Machinable Repair™ was used to resurface the seat thereby salvaging the valve. In addition, the wear life of the valve in the future will be extended dramatically.
