A revolutionary new iron based alloy that yields deposits that are over 50% amorphous (metal with glass crystals) and self-bonding. It provides exceptional resistance to high temperature wear, oxidation, and corrosion with individual particle hardness exceeding 67Rc. Particular suited for such demanding environments as oil sand, exhaust fans, boiler tubes, hot metal rollers, etc. Additions of aluminum provide bond strengths exceeding 10,000psi, eliminating the use of bond coat alloys in most applications.
