A revolutionary new iron based alloy that yields deposits that are roughly 60% amorphous. It provides exceptional resistance to high temperature wear, oxidation, and corrosion with individual particle hardness approaching 60-65HRC. Particular suited for such demanding environments as oil sand, drill collars, exhaust fans, boiler tubes, hot metal rollers in steel mills, salt fog wear application, etc. Comparable wear to our tungsten alloys in sliding wear applications at a greatly reduced cost per pound.
